Now that autumn has fully taken over our lives here in Toronto, and pumpkin spice lattes run ramped, I felt it was necessary to share my on-the-town street style look with y'all. For this look I brought together all my favourite pieces that I love to have with me when I am out and about on the town.
Whenever I know the day is going to be filled with a lump sum of walking and commuting, I always swap my brogues out for my sneakers. Let's be real, we have to take practicality over aesthetic every once in a while. Today I took my Nike faux shearling high tops for a ride. The shearling-lined tops are perfect for that chilly autumn day for keeping your feet warm but not feeling like a fur lined oven. The messenger bag is from Property Of ... Amsterdam Series. It combines both a sleek appeal, functionality, and with a colour like olive green its a great staple to add to your day to day ventures.
Now from accessories to the Outfit. I'm not one to usually dress in black but with a colourful addition, like this burgundy coat from Ted Baker London, any black outfit can be brought forward instead of being muted with a black coat. The shirt is from Dolce and Gabbana Gold collection and combines two of my favourite things; colour-blocking and print. The white and black colour block with the large scale houndstooth really adds the perfect playful tone to any outfit and even looks great paired with a black blaze and solid coloured tie. Like i mentioned earlier, wearing black is not one of my favourite things to do, but any day I get to wear these black zip-detailed bottom joggers from Zara Man is a day I completely abandon my style preferences. The joggers combine comfort and ouster, the perfect combination for any city slick.
