To me Mondays are all about being comfy in the way I dress. A day where I leave my ties and suits in the closet and opt for my cozy favourites to start off my week ! If you know me and my style, you know I'm a HUGE sweater person, and this bright orange cable knit holds the crown for the favourite of all my sweaters. The jumper in this look is from H&M that I got as a gift a few years back, and the combination of such a fun and bright colour with the classic structure of a cable knit is perfect for adding a classic twist to any autumn/ winter look. The denim is from Club Monaco and is the champ of my light wash denim. Just like any good denim, they took some love to work in, but now that they are broken in I truly feel one with this pair of jeans.
To add to the comfort of sweaters and denim, I chose my Nike Roshe runs as shoe choice of the day. Every time I lace these bad boys up, I know it's going to be a day of walking on a cloud, and for someone like me who lives in their brogues and loafers majority of the week, a comfy sneaker like this is a must have. To top the look off, I wore my high neck overcoat from Oak and Fort. Their men's section doesn't have the largest selection, but is always filled with great gems like this overcoat here I snagged last winter. Now the original buttons suffered some tragic hits but I took it into my own hands to make the coat more personal and sewed the golden antique looking buttons on, giving them a debonair touch.
Also, I want to let all my readers know that the Blog's and my personal Instagram have been compiled into one and are no longer two separate pages. Now you can get your Debonair Dude insta-fix in one menswear photo dumping ground. I hope your Monday was filled with just as much comfort as mine, and stay tuned for my super delayed WMCFW recap and looks coming your way later this week !
